I think ND is already in the fold. That's why I've defended Wake
So much. Don't underestimate Wake's president and his ties to ND.
Get ND and ND can basically chose who it wants for #16. Texas is the only school that can truly break up the Big 12, so I think they move first. TAMU won't allow Texas into the SEC. Texas and Notre Dame are the only schools that could feasibly travel an ACC schedule with their budgets. Texas can talk OK and KU into joining them as travel partners. TTU, OKST, KSU could go SEC (the Kansas and Oklahoma schools can partner up like half the ACC and SEC do for rivalry weekend already.)
WVU could be #18 to rhe SEC.
The ACC would come out on top here. Add basketball and football schools at the same time. The B1G would only have UCONN left and no one would leave the ACC if this scenario plays out.
Why would Texas and Oklahoma want to become an also-ran in the SEC or B1G? Why WOULDN'T Kansas want to join the ACC?
